Trash and Recycling Services

Landfill General Information:

• Residents are able to take 5 bags of trash to the landfill each week for FREE.
• Present identification at scale house to show residency of Hopewell Township to obtain a landfill ID card.
• Landfill operating hours are weekdays 7:00am to 4:00pm.
• The Landfill will be CLOSED on Saturdays for the foreseeable future. 
• The Landfill will be open the following Saturdays after:
  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

• Bulky Waste Days will be held on April 13th and September 14th

Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement Relating to Garbage/Solid Waste, Recycling, and Bulk Item Collection:

• Hopewell Township will be participating in an intergovernmental cooperation agreement with Southampton Township relating to garbage/solid waste, recycling, and bulk item collection through Parks starting November 1st, 2022.
• If you are currently using another trash collector, they will be notified and you will not be charged a termination fee. 
• The Price will be $61 per quarter and $55 for senior citizens.
• Hopewell Township residents are still be able to take five bags of trash to the landfill each week.
